Maintaining Dental Health

When it comes to oral health, the first question that comes to our mind is, what we should do to have a good oral health? So, here are some basic tips to maintain dental health.

Most important thing that should be followed on daily basis is, brushing twice a day. It’s a must to brush before going to bed using proper brushing technique.

How to brush – The image shows the correct use of a brush.

  • As shown in above image brush should be inclined at 45 degree angle towards gums and swipe out the brush, so that the brush will go inside the gums and cleans completely.
  • In case of cleaning above surface of teeth, just brush gently as shown in picture.
  • This helps to improve dental health as well as gum’s health.
  • Gum’s health is equally important to have strong teeth throughout your life.
  • It’s possible to maintain all your teeth till your last day of life, if we maintain it properly which include daily maintenance and visiting regularly to dentist for check up at least twice a year.
  • Don’t be harsh on your teeth, brushing forcefully doesn’t mean more cleaning. Brushing using proper technique will help to have good oral health.
  • Brush should be changed after every 3 months, so that it can clean teeth well.
